The lake was like glass today...no, more like a mirror with a perfect reflection except for a few leaves scattered over the surface. The cold water looks different from the summer lake. I don't quite know why, obviously the relection of fall and winter colors is different but it's more. The water seems....heavy. Solid.

In the summer I can imagine breaking into the liquid pool - wanting to, feeling a pull to plunge in, make waves.

But now, the water is beautiful but distant, deep and cold. Cold in more ways than temperature. It still pulls me but only my eyes watching the sunlight reflect because nothing can penetrate that smooth, solid sheet.

the temperature is constantly affecting the molucular structure.

My downgrade I put in for 6 months ago finally came through.......as of Jan 1, I have no more management responsibilities......I will be just a driver. Thank God!

I still can't believe you can eat donuts and lose 7 pounds and I am eating rice and beans for a week and only lose 4. Not that I'm not extremely happy about the 4 but dammit I'm working for it. You.....aren't. grrrrrrrrr

I had more to start with to lose. And those 2 donuts? That's the only junk food I've had all week. For instance, today, I've had only a breakfast sandwich (sausage/egg) and 2 rolls. Plus a few chocolate covered raisins.....and 2 lLittle Debbie cookies.....and some peanuts!

I could stand to lose 25. More if I want to look like Jennifer Aniston (much more). But I will be lucky to lose 15.

Sausage? egg? chocolate? cookies? peanuts? You are so not helping your case here. Good thing you like diet coke cuz if you were drinking my beloved regular coke and still losing I might have to kill you.

You both make me sick. I've been dieting since Monday and I gained a pound. Today I didn't have time to make my egg this morning, so I had to go with a breakfast bar, for lunch I wolfed down about 1 ounce of leftover pasta with veggies, no sauce, and for dinner I had another ounce of the pasta and 2 sugar-free oatmeal cookies. I am fucking HUNGRY!!! and I bet when the week's over, I'll be right where I started.

Oh... I forgot the non-stop coffee with Splenda.

I'm currently on a see food diet.

Bam, I know misery loves company, so I ran up to White Castle real quick, and bought a 6 pack. That oughta blow my scale reading tomorrow.

Well.... once again my internet connection is so bad it makes dial-up look like a great alternative. Instead of getting 3mbps download, I'm getting 340kbps (and 23kbps upload). It sucks.
