Thursday 1-10-08

I have no sound on my computer. I cleaned my office yesterday - a big dusting frenzy after putting all the holiday stuff up. I cleaned out my desk drawers and even all the little compartmental trays holding assorted desk supplies. I found stuff I forgot I had. And I wiped down everything.

I have a little stereo hooked up to the computer and I have checked all the connections thinking I might have disconnected something by accident. I have plugged in, unplugged, replugged and jiggled every wire.

I have restored my system to yesterday when the sound was working.

I have reset, turned off and restarted and even reset my computer. Still no sound.



My Norton ran out a couple of days ago but I didn't renew because Rob said he had another already paid for. But he didn't put it on before he left for Chicago. I sure hope this isn't virus related because I've been barebacking on the internet.

I know this is like a 6 year old kid telling his daddy how to change the alternator on the family sedan, but......did you go to the control panel, and make sure that the audio has not been muted?

You would be surprised.....and amazed.....at some of the skills and expertise I have.
