I've been thinking (scary, huh?) that soon The James Gang Bar and Grill will probably fade away into oblivion. Is there any point in inviting whomever might still go there to come here? Does anyone care?

Also, I am sort of working on a new fall theme, but not very ambitiously, so there may be something new soon. Or maybe not.

Hey, bam, don't you already have a back up board made for the outlaws gang? If the old one is going down you should just put up the addy to that one, if you still have that board.

I don't know why they never took me up on the many, many times I offered to reduce the hosting costs of that board. It's like they WANT to pay $100 a year for such a small amount of traffic.

I don't know why they didn't do a lot of things. I think some of them are just plain crazy.

Actually, I haven't seen where anyone's brought up the fact that the hosting and domain will be up for renewal. I can't imagine anyone ponying up to keep it going.

Maybe they took my advice about paying for multiple years at a time for a cheaper per year rate instead of paying the more expensive yearly rate each and every year. Or maybe their year is not up from last time the annual crisis occurred.

No, "they" didn't. A few of us chipped in and I took care of actually paying. I just checked the account and the expiration is Dec. 12, I think. Unless someone paid and didn't say anything, which I doubt.

I don't think I'll be doing anything special. I could link to the backup board I made awhile back that Rose referred to, but I don't know what that will accomplish.

How do I get my online status hidden? The hidden option is checked yes in my profile yet I can still see me as a registered user.

If posters see me online they might not stay because of my boringness.

I'm hidden for the same reason!

You are able to see your name as online (it should be in italics) when hidden but others can't see it.
