I just slept twelve hours, and I feel worse than if I had slept four. I'd go out and take a walk to get my juices flowing a little, but looking out the window, I can see the papparazi just waiting for me to walk out that door. Seems someone has made me famous as the next video exercise guru, and those vultures out there are hard pressed for photos to meet their deadline.

Ok, since I have been declared "technically challenged" by certain members of this board, I feel no embarrassment having to ask this question: My son, who moved out two years ago after a brief stint in our basement for having not the common sense to keep his job while having financial obligations, did some rearranging of our cable/broadband system, which I have been trying to unravel for the past two hours. (Well, that may not have been a question....just a little background). Now for the question.....How many splitters can a cable system handle without throwing up it's electronic hands and saying "FUCK YOU.....I CAN'T HANDLE ANY MORE)! So far, taking about half the panels out of the drop ceiling in the basement, I've found three splitters. I've disconnected them all. I also found two empty bottles of "Wild Turkey", a telephone that was still hooked up, with the ringer turned "off" and several other strands of cable wire that I've not yet figured out where they lead to. I have found one cable wire going into a heating/AC duct, but after searching the rest of the outlets in the house, I can't find where it comes out. I have no idea where it goes. In addition to the three disconnected splitters, we have three more in the house that I cannot disconnect, unless I just don't want cable/broadband going to those rooms. So techies....how many splitters can I use?

We went out this evening. Went to the mall first for kid1's homecoming dress - after walking the entire mall wound up getting it at the place we started.

Then we went to eat at Joe's Crab Shack which is usually pretty good but was disappointing tonight all the way round the table.

I got my Firefly/Serenity posters framed and ready to hang. And I cleaned out and organized my office - made room for the new computer workstation. I have a Webinar on Monday and I need to get a speaker phone in here before then - and some more light. I'm thinking a floor lamp - or two - since I have no ceiling lights.

If you find an old bong and a stash up there in the drop ceiling,.....thats mine.

I have walked 6 miles today and weight trained. I stink.

kid2 has a diorama to make showing how the Creek tribe used to live. I see a trip to Michaels for some popsicle sticks and styrofoam in my future.

You do stink, showing me up with all your working out while I laze around sleeping in until almost noon.

Diorama? Oh, those were the days.

I just got my computer reformatted. My son wiped it clean and reinstalled everything, and it now runs like a friggin' jet plane on steroids. It is so fast that the website comes up before I click on it.

Today was a very productive day. Got my car window fixed, washed and cleaned it, filled it up at Kroger (2.52 gal) after grocery shopping, got a haircut so I look pretty again, and even snuck in a nap.

You people make me sick with all your productiveness. I slept late, did the grocery shopping and brought home burgers for dinner.... and I'm worn out.

I managed a nap today, too. But I am still worn out. Almost forgot to play trivia so I had to log back on, lol. I might finally win a month!

Ha! I thought about that the other day... how I started to play this month and then forgot about it until about 3 days ago. I am a piece of work.

And once again I prove that I totally stink at trivia.
