Subject: SATURDAY 10-13-07 Sat Oct 13, 2007 10:49 am

Finally....the weekend! I've been waiting a whole month for it to arrive. Now, if I can just get through this next week, I have vacation to look forward to. Blissful morns of arising late. Action-packed afternoons of taking naps. Hot sultry nights of letting the dogs out for their obligatory howling of the moon. Only time will determine if my heart can stand the excitement or not.

Another vacation already?!

The arrival of the weekend is quite exciting. I feel reborn, rejuventated, liberated. The world is my oyster, whatever the fuck that means. I don't even like oysters. But I digress.

Viva la Saturday!

They are starting work on the new windows and siding next week and we are supposed to have all the shrubs trimmed back 18 inches from the house. Rob's gone to Home Depot for a hedge trimmer atm and I'll be hauling the debris around to the backyard compost/fire pit/dump area.

Then later we have the neighborhood block party. I'm taking a corn casserole so I'll have to make that at some point.

But it's good. It's all good today. Life is good. content

It IS a good Saturday. I got out of going for the weekly grocery trip. It pays to be bitchy. blue grin

There are several detriments to having bedhead....e.g. when you are coming home from a night of supposedly playing cards.
