What? No one started today's blaaahg yet? Well....

I just got finished taking my physics test that started at 8am... I still can't believe I got up that early. I think I did pretty well on it. I had a rough start, but about halfway through my brain had kicked in and I was able to go back and do the one I skipped. It was pretty easy in its entirety.

Now i'm at the Student Computing Center where I tried to play some WoW that I've been itching to play for a few days now, but I can't connect! ARG!!

Things are going uphill atm, and they will be until I have to write my final english paper.

Yay for ImShiny starting the blaaag today!

I was going to shop online today but wound up going out anyway. I'm hiding everything in my closet until the tree is up and I can move everything under the basement stairs (where the tree hibernates) and I've run out of room.

I still have the odd item or two I can't find in stores so I will hit amazon.com in a bit. And maybe even cruise ebay. I haven't shopped it since last year when I bought some Xmas puzzles - it's fun winning bids.

I found 3 xmas puzzles from the same seller on ebay all ending within just a few minutes of each other. I won the 1st two in the last minute but someone got wise to me and beat me out of the last one in the last 8 seconds. But I got 2!

Yay! There's always a sense of accomplishment that goes with winning items on ebay.

What it means is out of millions of people, you were willing to pay the most.

In my case 'the most' was $2.99 and $3.25. I lost the third because my $4.50 bid was beat before I could up to $4.75 (which is as high as I would have gone).

I'm sure the S&H will cost more than the items, lol.

I've never purchased anything on Ebay.

The only reason I broke down and tried it a couple of years ago was it was the only place I could find some coat/hat hooks that I liked.

Turns out, it was pretty easy and kind of fun. And some items you can buy outright without bidding but bidding is the fun part. Bidding would be a bitch, tho, if your internet kept going out on you, lol.

Everything online is a bitch when it keeps going off.

I updated my router's firmware and it seemed to help.

I started with ebay prolly 4 years ago. I was having my mom get collectors edition vinyls of my favorite band of all eternity, Sepultura. but anyway, like anything I like but somebody else has to do, I eventually got tired of dealing with her to get to someone else. Not that there was anything wrong with the way my mom was handling, but being a firm believer in efficiency, I decided I needed my own account. I rarely use it. I don't remember if I even have 100 positives on this account. My old one was cancelled or abanoned for getting 3 non paying bidders. But this newer one is clean except for one jack ass that bought a cd from me and didn't pay.

On second thought, it looks like one of those chocolate donuts I had last night. Scale at 196.5. It doesn't enter tenths....only halfs.....so I punished myself for nothing last night with those 2 donuts.

Probably.....but you had fun doing it, so it's worth it. I never bought anything on ebay....never bid on anything.....but my kids have. I did put an old record from the 1920's on it once, just to see what would happen. It was an old recording of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig that was put out as a souvenir. Not one bid.

I have 100% feedback.

Question: The seller sent me an invoice for the two items I won and I paid it but the two original wins still show as 'need to pay'. Do I just delete them and will that look like I won items but never paid for them? I guess I'll just wait a bit and see if the seller clears them or whatever.

Donuts are really about the worst thing you eat to cheat on diet. A chocolate frosted glazed donut has about 20 grams of fat - my total allowance for a DAY. It's about the same as 5 slices of bacon.
Or a slice of pizza.

Good GOD I'm hungry. But you know what, being hungry isn't all bad. I feel hornier for one but I also feel better all around.

Not that I will ever be "thin", I've given up on that (I am big boned dammit!) but I can be healthy - feeling and looking.

Update on the ebay question, now they say 'won- need to leave feedback' so I guess the seller did whatever.

And they're going in the mail today!

At work today, the woman who I am replacing (and who is training me) was doing some Christmas shopping online. She found something she wanted on ebay and somehow ended up buying it from 2 different places accidentally. It would have been cool if she hadn't have done that because one of them is about 5 miles away from where we work and they are going to drop it off at the office and she saves shipping charges.
