| Didja miss me yesterday? My house guest left yesterday - finally. First he was supposed to leave Monday... then Tuesday. It's really hard to plan meals when you have no idea how many are going to be eating... and he was sleeping on MY couch. It's not that I don't like him, I just hate any household disruptions. I had my second interview with the real estate company yesterday afternoon and I thought it went very well. I mentioned something about my references and she said: We only check those if we're going to hire someone. It was girls' night out last night - though it was only two of us. As soon as I got in my friend's car, she said that she'd had a reference call about me from the real estate company. So... I don't know if I should be getting excited about it, but I am thinking that I might be the one getting the offer this time. | |

| I hope I do. The starting pay is very NOT GREAT, but I can live with it I think. They don't offer insurance, but I've been checking into that on my own and I think I afford what I absolutely have to have. I'd love to get out of the house on a regular basis again... and get some money coming in even if it's not much. What? You were on strike? | |

| Oh, I should know about the job by tomorrow. She said they'd be making a decision by Friday and calling either way to let me know. | |

| I once went to a jewelry party where only organic materials were used. We made beautiful necklaces stringing rabbit turds together. | |

| One astute customer, an older lady with blue-white hair, made the observation that Kentucky didn't have any oceans in which to grow oysters. | |
