| I haven't forgotten.....I had a coupla false starts, and just deleted things.....I need to rethink where i need to go. I think I've decided to put in more gratuitous violence and sex, rather than take the high road. | |

| It is! What a great story-teller that Baldarlord is! I wonder if we'll get a version of events from Zvonder's point of view. | |

I dunno if that's the way to go with this one. I am toying with the idea of illustrating the tale though. If I start now maybe I'll getErDun by next Christmas. (..I'm soo slow)

| I love the Baldarklord sign in the mall and the drunken, fingerwaving Zvonder... and all of the pictures! And I'm riveted by the story! It's like we have our own Santas. | |

there's a couple of ways. Here's one: All u need is the URL of the actual image (not the web page it's on, necessarily). One way is to right click the image, then click on properties at the bottom. In the box that opens copy (alt [plus] C ) the URL for "location". Then paste (alt [plus] V ) that in the insert image (looks like a picture frame) option above on the post tool bar. Another: If the image displayed totally alone on a page then just copy the URL from the location bar in your browser and paste that to the "insert image" box. Also, I'm not sure if this is new to Vista or not, but you can simply right click the image and select "copy location" from that drop down. Thats actually the easiest way. Then just paste it to the "insert image" box using the keys (Alt V ). I don't remember it being that way on my old XP machine, but maybe it was. More and more over time sites try to do little things to make this a difficult thing to do, like adding stuff to the URL that is not needed and will mess up the link. If it ever does not work for you, look again at the URL info and only copy up to the point where it has an image tag (include that tag), like .jpg,.bmp,.gif,.png,etc. Don't include all the bullshit they add after that. A working image link will ALWAYS end with an image tag of some type. Could you do me a favor Baldar? Hold off on the story a few days while I work up the next set of illustrations. I know just what I wanna do, i just have to get it done. I already got the mall fight finished but I wanna post em all at once. And if you want, we can arrange it so the images can be placed within the story closer to where they correspond to the story. I think that can be done....right Bam? Its no big thing (if you don't wait me out), but certain things I feel should get done up and I may start to fall behind to the point that they will be way out of place.

ROFL!! Lordy, I've got to save all this and I want to put zvon's pictures in their place, too. Maybe Bambi can do some editing and stick the ones already done where they should be. LOL, what a great morning treat.

| Bambi's already lost her technicality? I can move stuff around, sure, but I may need a little help on where to place the pics. And I think I can only put the pictures into a post that's already there - I can't actually move the posts around. Zvon, can you put some kind of Z mark on your pics? 'Cause to put them into the story, your actual posts will be lost. | |

(if I understand your meaning, that is..you will place the images closer to where they belong and then we don't need the image posts i made...)

| Okay, I can't delete em. I don't want this to get complicated... Should we just leave it as it is?
If my posts in the story thread are lost in the process of placing them, thats allright with me. Its baldars story and thread. I'm just the lowly illustrator. ;)

I kept hoping to find a picture illustrating how that was accomplished, but I guess Jane had some kinda contract that forbade actual illustrations. I finally had to go to the 'Kama Sutra'.

| Well, we can work this all out. All it ever takes is time, one of the few things that's non negotiable and cannot be returned. Like now, I'm on Google image search looking for a proper bar table set up to place the Two Flowers of Kraal. I figured this would be the easy part of making the image. 20 mins and nothing suitable. But I'll find it eventually. My two most used sites (you would think they would be pron related but they are not)= Google and Wikipedia. | |
