| I finished Wicked today. Not what I was expecting. It was interesting but not all that entertaining read. And according to wikipedia the musical version takes great liberties with the plot lines. The book is quite political which makes the "story" drag, to me anyway. The debates over evil vs good lack dimension. Rob's in Philly until Friday but I'm going to trivia night without him tonight. Our team did pitifully last week. Is it wrong of me to feel a little joy that they do worse when I'm not there? Lol. Baldar, I hope your funereal duties are near an end. Nothing puts a pall on life like death, eh. Speaking of death, this poor board has been abandoned by zvon and bam by all appearances so I'm using it as my personal blog or perhaps "letters to bam" heehee. | |

| Ouch, we blew trivia night again. We got a lot right but so did everyone...apparently.... and then we missed the all important bonus bits. We are convinced people are cheating with cell phones and take solace in knowing we earn our score, pathetic as it may be. | |

| Hi sass....i feel the same way about cheaters on the poker site I play on. Well, all my funeral duties are done, back to work tomorrow. Wife is taking it pretty well.......her mom had been sick for several weeks, and we knew her death was imminent. The toughest part is watching them linger....the funeral finally becomes a relief. As far as this being your personal blog.....sorry....I'm gonna stay....we'll have to share it. | |

| I check in more often than in b/t semesters lol. There was a wreck outside the apartment complex today. Apparently some truck (Dodge 2500) rear-ended a little compact car. The whole back half was crushed/smashed. It wasn't pretty. The girl inside was stuck there until they forced the door open. Amazingly she wasn't hurt too bad. There weren't any visible damages to the truck. I cut my thumb in lab yesterday on some broken gassware. The side-arm on a flask was broken but still usable, so I tried getting a hose on there to hook up to the aspirator, but it slipped and I caught my thumb on the end of that side-arm. It went straight through to the bone. It was a clean cut and I didn't realize it was as "bad" as t was until I pulled the skin back. Here was my thought process: -Ow! There's a line there; doesn't look too bad... I'll see if it'll open upWOAH that's deep! Cool, that's deep... shit, lots of blood.- It didn't hurt any. I cleaned it out and slapped a band-aid on there and it's all healed up. I'm seriously thinking of switching majors to some engineering course. I've lost some interest in chemistry, not to mention that my grades are terrible. I feel that I'll do better in a math-based major than chemistry. I've yet to talk to my parents about it... I'll get around to it sooner or later. I've got a physics test tomorrow; need to do some of the homework so I get to know the material. I haven't been to class at all this semester lol. | |

| There's always chemical engineering. You prolly should have had that cut looked at but now that it's healed over all you can do is look for the red streaks of blood poisoning. Haven't been to class all semester?! That sounds like me with probability. But I think I found a clue as to why your grades are terrible. I still plan to trade in my mini-van for a small car this year. With gas an "arm and a leg" lol I'm pretty sure most people will be giving up the mammoth trucks, SUVs and Hummers eventually, prolly sooner than later so the roads shouldn't stay so hazardous. I drove small cars for 15 years and I like them better. I want a stick again! | |

| I've ruled out chemical engineering; there's still chemistry courses involved. I'm kinda through with chemistry methinks.
I've only not gone to physics. It's just my chem grades that are bad. | |

| I can't think of any engineering majors that would be easier than chemistry. Maybe civil engineering. Maybe. | |

| Sanitation engineer isn't too hard. You just gotta know which button to press to compact the garbage. | |

| I didn't say I was looking for something easier, just something different. *sigh* Damnit, I don't kmow what tho, and it's frustrating me. There's things going on right now that I'm having trouble dealing with, and there's things in the future that I'm having trouble dealing with. I feel like Atlas with the weight of the world on his shoulders, but I dunno if I'll be able to hold it... That might sound suicidal, but trust me, I'd never kill myself; that wouldn't resolve anything. I don't hate my life, I just hate what's happening in it. It'd be so much easier if I had dropped the damn class when I could.

| I just talked to my mom. She's going to send an apptitude test that the middle school she works at uses. Maybe that'll give me some direction. Wouldn't it suck if my results say to stick with what I'm already doing? | |
