If Hillary isn't the nom I'm not sure if I'll vote either.

Possibly.....but I don't think we'll ever know. Obama has got this thing snowballing in his favor. Hillary is just too polarizing for too many people.

I can understand the Albanians wanting to break out from under the Serbian control that had tried to anihilate them (again, not checking spelling).

Eastern Europe almost seems as tribal as the Middle East. Odd that in America we are so diverse but not at all tribal.

They've had a thousand years to develop their hatreds. We're still youngsters at that, comparably.

Besides, I don't think we have to get involved if we just recognize them as an independent state. Isn't this the kind of thing the EU is supposed to handling? It's their backyard.

There's also the Muslim?Christian factions. It just seems they can't live side by side without wanting to blow each other up.

And the Jews. Don't forget the Jews.

You're exactly right. but think of the wars we've had to go to in the past century because of the Europeans.

They all hate one another.

Kid2 is sick. Since last Wed. The doc said virus and gave us nothing. She seems to be worse, coughing a lot.

If there is anything worse than not being able to sleep because of a cough it's having a child who can't sleep because of a cough.

You need a new doc. Stupid fuckers. Virusus don't cause the cough....bacteria does. She eneds an antibiotic, and fast.

Besides, we'll prolly do trivia night out Wed. And a friend and I have been having Lost watching "parties" at each other house on Thurs.

Pediatricians dole out antibiotics like it's fucking gold. It's like being a crackhead begging for a rock.

It doesnt negate the fact that she needs one....

I dug out her inhaler tonight which we haven't had to use in years. The meds were prolly expired even but I figure it couldn't hurt.

No fever and she feels okay. It started as a sore throat and mild fever. The strep test was negative. The throat doesn't hurt anymore, no fever...it's just the cough now.

They won't give her an antibiotic for that.

Say, how's the diet going? We haven't had a weigh in in a while.

I've been pretty good on diet and exercise for about a week but no results as yet. I figure I gotta do it for the rest of my life just to keep from going up even if I don't go down.
