| I just noticed when I checked my calendar for the date that it is Passover. I hope you are all filled with matzo happiness! This post is being made specifically to correct a prior post that I can't find about Buffy being a 30 minute show - it is NOT. It was an hour show but since the running times are actually around 44 minutes I did not even realize. So there. My bad. | |

| Plus, while I'm ranting, there are only 2 seasons online and it turns out there were like 6 or so. Guess I'll have to netflix them, grrrr. I have dirt under my fingernails from weeding and I have scrubbed them. Hard! We are grilling tonight on the new patio. We shopped for patio furniture yesterday. Seems like everything is either cheapo or mansion worthy. Places like Garden Ridge and Wal-mart have various groups of like 6 pieces for $300, but they are not well made or very attractive. The Patio furniture stores have gorgeous stuff that costs more than my leather den furniture. Seriously, a sofa for $2700 - alone. Who has $10,000 to spend on a patio furniture set?!!! Home Depot had both, the cheap off the floor and the special order expensive. I figure that nothing will last forever outdoors even under a cover. We could buy a new set of the cheap stuff every year for what one item of the good stuff costs. So, we'll keep looking. Maybe Target...or Sears. | |

| Apple crates make nice patio chairs.....and the big round things the telephone company runs their cable from make good tables. As far as a sofa, a nice padded non-working refrigerator turned on it's side with some foam padding is very comfortable....and if the fridge works, it doubles as a place to keep your beer. | |

| We passed by my favorite thrift store out shopping yesterday and considered getting an old sofa and recliner for $5. Here in the South you can actually do that on the front porch, lol. | |

| I hear in the south........you can do a lot of things on the front porch. When I was with UPS, I led a team that was responsible for upgrading operations in small centers in Eastern Ky....basically Appalachia.. One of the duties was to ride with the drivers, to learn the areas. On one of these rides, the driver had a delivery up in a "holler". While on the ride up, we passed a shanty shack, on which an old man and young girl sat out on the front porch. As we rode by, the girl, probably no older than 15 or 16, raised up her shirt and flashed us. The old man just smiled a toothless grin. | |
