| I'm knocking the cobwebs off this place tonight. The family comes home tomorrow from my mother in laws so it's my last night of solitude. To be honest, I'm rather tired of being alone. I've enjoyed the freedom in some ways but it has been a little disturbing what an adjustment it has been. And here I am....at this board....alone. | |

| So now it's Sunday technically but I'm not starting a new thread.
I'm finally getting to watch Buffy! I'm on the 1st episode of season 1 @ hulu.com. | |

| I didn't realize it was a 30 minute sit-com type show. I saw the movie version with that playboy chick and Donald Sutherland and liked it a lot. The show is a bit cheesy but it's intentional so it's all good - just not quite what I was expecting. | |

| My mother-in-law died Sun morn. She was 90. It was expected, but still hit my wife pretty hard. We just buried her brother 4 months ago. She went up to tell her "Aunt Katsy", her mom's sister, the news with another sister. She was just put into an extended care facility for alzeimer's. She got a call from her today asking why no one had told her her sister had died.....she read the obit. The lady still couldn't understand that they had told her, and was adamant about it in no uncertain terms. Of course my wife was already tore up, and that was just the icing on the cake. It's gonna be a bad month or so. | |

| I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I imagine that it's horrible to lose a parent no matter what age. But 90 is damned good run. | |
