Ok....I'll bite. Is there some kind of trap for starting today's blaaaaaaag?

Hi, baldar. How was your day? Are you enjoying driving again?

The day was fine, but I don't start that till Jan......officially. But it's Xmas, and just about everyone will be on a truck after next week. I'm looking forward to it. At UPS, I was always looking for an excuse to go out, either with anothr driver, or covering a vacation or absentee. At Fedex, although "inside" is not neaqrly as bad or stressful as UPS, I always enjoyed being out.

I think I would enjoy it, too. Unless the weather and roads were crappy, like iced over.

Remember when I told you all that I had started corresponding with an old high school classmate and mentioned I might not hear from him again after I admitted I was agnostic?

Well, turns out, I think he wants to save me....or my soul at least. Every message has a mention of God or Jesus or worship in some way.

This last one he asked if I read and told me I should check out The Way of the Master by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron which appears to be instruction on how to live the Word and witness to the unsaved. Time to shut it down.

Thank you, God, that I no longer live in West Point, MS, where there is a church on every street corner.

It's a pretty good gig. The main reason I'm doing it at this late stage is that we're revamping our retirement bennies, and since I plan on retiring in a year and a half, it's to my benefit to do it this way. I'll take about a 10k hit on salary (6k after taxes), I'll gain a lot more than that thru the revamping on retirement. Plus, I just need the change.
