| How's the new job going, bam?
Do you think you'll ever have time to get online at work?

| HELLO, PD! Is it me or are the Christmas stamps ugly this year? I'd rather have PatDaddy's avatar for a stamp than those knit ones. I almost went with the Marvel Comic covers or the Star Wars ones but got the stupid knit ones in the end. But I'm not happy about it. | |

| *cough cough*
It's so cold here today I thought I'd light the new gas logs in the den we put in last year. Hadn't had them on since last year.
So I reached in and pushed the damper handle. Deanna turned the gas started while I held the grill lighter. All went well. Or so it seemed. Within about 3 minutes the smoke alarm started going off even tho it wasn't smoky. But it was gassy smelling.
Turns out I closed the damper instead of opening it. It must have been open for months and months - no wonder the room has been so chilled. Oooops.
*cough cough* Gas fumes aren't too bad for you are they? Btw, I opened the damper and started the logs again - no explosions. I think that's a good sign.

| After two cancellations I am finally going to that damned jewelry making party tonight. *sigh* Guess I'll go get ready. On the bright side, I can wear my new coat - it's getting down to 37 tonight. | |

| I liked the stamps I got last year which were just snowflakes. I'm not sure about the job yet. I'd really like to make them totally dependent on me before I start doing things they might think would interfere with my job. The woman training me is going to be there for about 3 more weeks so it would be sometime after that. I'm pretty sure that I'll at least be able check in here when the owners are not around the office and my work is caught up... which should be quite a bit from what I've seen. | |

| At least you won't be called in to work weekends. But don't forget your disinfectant on Monday. | |

| So..... I come home from work, cook dinner (yes, I've still been doing that even though I'm working), clean up the kitchen, get online and come here, make a post, and, zzzzzzzzzzz, fall asleep until now. Everyone else went to bed, I guess. | |

I bet he almost flittered when he found out about the Mercers. You have got to get those girls of yours to start helping out around the house including cooking duties. I already make my girls fend for themselves for meals a lot when Rob's not home and they are 10 and 15. Yeah, I'm harsh. But I look at it like I can cook a meat and 2 veggies that they will refuse to eat and I don't need. They will end up eating a bowl of cereal or grilled cheese anyway so why not just go right to the cereal/grilled cheese? That way I don't have to cook or clean or eat food I don't need as well as throw away two plates of uneaten food.
