This theme is totally depressing me, but I'm too lazy to come up with something new.
I think I'm going to have to do some recycling.

Not that it matters, but I did get new avatars for us.

So... I'm making deviled eggs for an extended family get together and I may have already ruined them. I left the pots to boil while I went to do laundry and they boiled too hard, so at least one egg's shell is cracked with a misshapen inside.

I wasn't asked to bring anything but the menu sounded so blech to both Susan and me. And I didn't feel like doing it, but that seemed so fucking lazy that I'm making myself. The problem is my food processor, which is extremely tiny. I can only process 6 eggs at a time and I need to make 2 dozen since there's about 20 coming.

Now I'm wondering why I've done this to myself. There's no going back since I have 2 dozen eggs boiling - lol.

It would have been easier to stop at the store, and buy a cake for dessert.

I just mash up the eggs and stuff with a fork. Deviled eggs sound pretty good.

I mashed with a fork too, until I found out how much faster and smoother it is with a processor.

My brother's family didn't make it to the gathering so I've got quite a few left over, which made my girls (and me) happy.
