Sat 6-28-08

Another day spent at Home Depot, Lowes, and Ace hardware.....and none of them had the thing I really, really, needed. I need ten one-inch foot flanges to anchor the wrought iron railings around the front porch. About half of the current anchors imbedded in the concrete of the sidewalk and front porch have just rusted through.....and it needs to be fixed. Fixed, or completely taken down, because the home inspector will just make it an issue when we put this thing up for sale.

I did replace the security light that had been broken by the security door swinging out during a storm and slamming into it. Also repainted and renumbered the mailbox, put new transfers in the kitchen and the foyer where the carpeting meets the new floor. Cleaned off the back deck, scrubbed it down, and now ready for restaining tomorrow.....same color.....white. After I get finished with all this, I don't know if I wanna move or not.

How's real estate moving where you are? It's not so great a time to be selling around here.

Kinda static.....Louisville held fairly steady.....prices didn't go up the past year.....but they didn't go down either.

I got caught up in watching tv. First, I saw the ending to Silence of the Lambs and then I caught the ending to Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train, or whatever it's called. I'd seen the former before but not the latter.

I'm sittin' here playing poker, watching tv, and drinking a beer.....and talking to you.

I thought I'd check in online after the last movie but my vampire game is still down, been down all day. I had a Cubis game going and thought I'd call it a night when I lost but damned if I'm not up to level 86. I'm sure I'll mess up soon, my eyes are about to cross.

I have faith in you......level 100 is just 30 mins away. Stay up and keep me company tonight.
