Attack of the Cicadas

For more than a week, brood 14 of the 17 year cicada has been emerging, mating, and splatting against my windshield as i go about my daily deliveries. I have seen dogs running from them; I have seen whole houses covered; I have had to stop and expel 4 at a time as they come into my truck; It sounds like you are walking on peanut shells as they crunch underfoot; 'tis the year of the cicada, and it has inspired a song from within me:

I say cicada, you say cicaata
I say tomato
you say potatoe

.....so far, that's all I have.....whaddya think?
