Sat night

Hey, it's the end of May already. I wanted to see the new Indiana Jones movie today but my friend wimped out on me. I will see it tomorrow if I have to go by myself!

How's tricks?

Tricks have been kinda slow.....I think I may need to find a new corner and lamp post to lean on. The one I go to now needs painting, the bulbs are blown, and there's not much traffic going by. The cars that do go by don't even slow down to check me out....and I am wearing some really skimpy things.

In other news....looks like Obama will be the Dem nominee. Can he beat McCain? I've heard opinions ranging from "all McCain has to do is keep breathing until the election to win" to "the Dems can't lose this year no matter how hard they try."

And what is up with these caucuses? Clearly Obama has them to thank for a large number of his pledged delegates but do they accurately reflect the support of a state's voters? Shame on Hillary's campaign for ignoring the caucus states, shame!

I haven't logged out Hillary yet. Obama will be ahead in the delegate count, but I believe something is going to happen to make Hillary the nominee.

I dunno...Hil's having a big shindig tomorrow night and word has it that she will announce suspension of her campaign. Obama will likely pick up the delegates he needs tomorrow and the uncommitted superdelegates will tow the line and declare for him.

If he loses the general election I'mma be all "told ya so!". Not that it will matter. Perhaps with a Dem congress McCain won't be able to march us off to war with Iran.

Mccain doesn't want another war.....he knows what it's like. Hillary....or even Obama....scare me to death. they will be perceived as weak to anyone that wants to do us harm, and encourage hostilities. I don't know if from Iran or whoever, but someone will test them. And if the test is too harsh, they won;t have a choice.....war it will be.

From the remarks McCain throws around about Iran it sounds like he is already beating the war drum. I don't believe that is showing strength.

I think the world will welcome a change from Bush and his arrogant incompetence. McCain only offers more of the same failed policies.

As for being in war, he must be forgetting what it was like since he voted against the GI bill offering returning vets the same state college promise that WWII vets got....which was actually worth a lot more back then.

But perhaps we should avoid the subject of politics....

LOL....there's nothing wrong with being passionate about your beliefs.

btw.do you watch the tudors on showtime?

Nah, don't have Showtime. HBO is pretty worthless lately.

Ahhhhhh.....once again, a hot shower has rejuvanated me.....I can play poker all night now.
