i've switched from word to excel today. bam, i bet with your experience you could teach classes on this stuff but if you are looking to bone up on the latest features (they 2003 and 2007) check out the training info here:
i've been going thru the online tutorials for word (and now excel) - it's much easier to have it spoon fed to me than trudging thru the dry 'office for dummies' book (tho the book is a good reference) trying to teach myself.

I have a hard time learning that stuff from books and tutorials. I learned excel when one year at work they gave us all the budget worksheets on a disk. Our office had to go out and buy excel quickly so I could do the budget. That was no pressure - learning a program while doing the budgeting for the year.

These have practice worksheets thruout the lesson to download along with step by step 'click this' 'click that' instructions to walk you thru everything - and many of the lessons have audio.
I like it because I'm so lazy, lol.
