Sunday 02-10-08

Been playing poker all night. It's now 5:11 am on a Sunday morning, I'm just a little sleepy, and HUNGRY. Going downstairs and eat something with sugar in it....and maybe some grease. Hell, I'll just settle for something high in cholesterol....I don't care if it taste good or not. Fuck what the bathroom scale says....which was 180.5 yesterday am. 5.5 more to go, and then I can start my diet back to get back up to 200 again.

Watching the old movie "Grapes of Wrath" with Henry Fonda. My most favorite novel, and one of my most favorite movies.....EVER!

For some reason, I've always loved movies directed by John Ford. They all have a humanistic quality about them, with exceptional characters. The Quiet Man, the Ft Apache westerns with John Wayne.....they all have this quality of making the characters overshadow the actual story. They touch your emotions.
