Happy Hump Day.

It's kid2's b-day today. Kid1 got up and made waffles for her (if you only knew how out of character this was you'd know why I'm noting it). I'm driving the b-day girl to school because she is carrying 2 dozen donuts in for a b-day class treat (chocolate frosted with sprinkles).

And it's cold. 34, feels like 27.

The good news is that kid2 has Girl Scouts after school and they are collecting all the leftover Halloween candy. Kid2 doesn't like any of what is left altho it's Snickers and Milky Way and lots of stuff I DO like so it's all going. All of it. I've had to keep my hands off it for a week, I passed up the donuts that were paraded around in front of me and there's a b-day cake in the fridge just waiting for tonight. There is only so much torture I can withstand people. My feelings of deprivation will start to prevail over my willpower at some point. I am trying to be good until Thanksgiving so let's give mom a fucking break, k.

At least I'm on my own today. I guess I'd better get started. And you guys better get started posting about your boring lives so I'll know I'm not alone.

My new favorite cereal:



For 1 cup serving size: 190 cal; 7g fiber; 1.5g fat.

My second favorite, Cracklin' Oat Bran, still has a lot of fiber but for a smaller serving size .75 cup you have more cal 200, a lot more fat 7g for almost the same fiber 6g.

I don't have to sweeten the COB but since I use equal on the Chex it doesn't really add anything anyway.

Well, I finally got home, so you're not all alone now, although I'm not sure you'd find me good company anyway. My pissy mood from yesterday (actually it's going onabout two weeks now) is still intact, and shows no signs of diminishing. Everything and everybody irks me in some way or another lately....and that's totally out of character for me. Thanks for listening....excuse me while I go cry now.

On a positive note, I switched to GEICO, and saved 3 bucks.

Kid2 picked Houlihans for dinner -yay! I was afraid it might be Chuck'E'Cheese. I can get my fav Tuscan salad, chicken breast stuffed with garlic cream cheese and smashed potatoes, yuuuuum.

Kid2 is pretty savvy, although i always liked Chucky Cheese. But, I can eat pizza every day, and they always had the coolest video games, too.

I think my mood started when I put on a pair of jeans, and asked my wife if they made me look fat, expecting the standard compliment about my tight muscular thighs and buttocks. Instead, she just gave me a strange look, and walked away.

Sass.....are you around that Norcross fire?

Fire? I had to go google it. Nah, it's on the Northside, too, but a ways from here. I used to work in Norcross, tho.
