Monday 11-05-07

Come on... someone here must have something going on in their life they can entertain us with. This is another typical Monday for me - check over the Sunday help wanted ads; email, fax and mail resume; do some laundry and think about doing something constructive.

Hey. While not as motivated as last Monday (the only day last week I got anything done btw) I am trying to get some stuff done.

I need to pack away all the Halloween stuff - I've started piling it on the dining room table.

I've eaten really low fat for 3 days now and lost a couple of pounds. I've exercised every day, too. I've got to face down the Dunkin Donuts today, tho. Kid2 wants to take them in to school as a treat on Wed for her birthday so it's order them today and pick them up tomorrow. That's two days of donut temptation dammit!

I can't seem to shake this headache. I guess it's sinus. I need some baldar treatment.

They were supposed to finish on our house this weekend but didn't show. A small crew is working today and the gutters are going up. It should be done by the end of the week, tho. Rob is going to build a cover over the patio and put a deck over the old cracked concrete patio. I'll try to post some before & after pix of the siding and the patio.

Woke up at 8:45. Skipped shower and went back to sleep for 35 minutes. Went to the bus stop with krotar. When we got on the bus, we sat down, and he said "oh, shit!" and got off. Dunno what he forgot. Went to physics lab. Found out I got an 82 on the test (55avg, and I didn't go to a single class ). Came home. Took a shower. Threw some hotdogs in the toaster oven. Made this post.

That's my day so far. The rest will be spent reading Great Expectations and playing Halo 3.

What a boring Monday it's been...for all of us it seems.

And it's going to be dark so early. I'll be ready to fall asleep by 9.

I got goat roped into going to a jewelry making party Thurs night. I thought it sounded like fun but all the jewelry is made of crystal beads and I'm not into crystal beads so much. Eh, I'll make my earrings and be done with it.

I think we are doing trivia again Wed night but it's kid2's b-day....we'll see.

As for tonight...another new Chuck comes on. I don't watch anything on Mondays so I might catch this.

Got up at 5:30, went to work, got off early (3:30), went to daughter's house to finish up stuff that needed finishing up that didn't get done Sat or Sun when I was there. Got home just a few minutes ago, cleaned up a pile of dog shit cause I didn't get home early enough to let them out At least we have them trained to go in one spot when they get their potty break delayed. I think it's cause it gets dark earlier now, 'cause they're usually pretty good about holding it......but noooooooo....not today.....when I get home first, and not my wife.

We've been letting our dog out to fraternize with the workers - as long as they keep the gates shut so he won't run away. Today he stole a pack of cigarettes from one of the guys and ate it. Cabbage head.
