Thursday 10-25-07

So here I am. It's midnight, technically the 25th now, and I'm still writing this damn paper for english that's due at 3:55pm. It's like pulling teeth to get me to write, but for some reason I always have my strokes of genius while writing after midnight on the day a paper is due. Just need to write two more pages. Here goes nothing...

What's it about?

A short story by Flannery O'Connor called "A Good Man is Hard to Find." My thesis is something about good vs evil. My thesis statement in itself sucks so I'm not going to tell you exactly what it is. If you're really interested, you can probably find the story online.

[edit]: Good news! I'm still one paragraph down, but I changed my thesis into something less specific, and now my paper makes more sense because of it.

Well it's 6:51 here and I'm paying for staying up after midnight last night.



Hope you got your paper finished, Shiny, and got some sleep. You are prolly still sleeping. Damn I wish I were still sleeping.

Woke up @ 10:15. Went to bed at 3:00 so I could have a decent amount of sleep. Didn't finish, but all I have left is a conclusion that I can write in the 2 hours I have for lunch. It won't take me that long to write a conclusion, but I'll have plenty of time after o-chem.

Good morning all.....now I'm gonna go eat breakfast at Bob Evans.

There's been a short delay....as usual....and I'm starving.

I'm starving for lunch. And I would like to go out and get something. But they have started pulling the siding off. And the door guy is here (I am fucking freezing btw as the doors are open and the cold moved in as the rain moved out). And Rob had a meeting at the airport.

So I am stuck here. Again. I keep hoping they'll take a lunch break. And I would consider just leaving them all here but their trucks are blocking me in so I'd have to ask them to stop and move them.

Panda Express, I hear you calling my name but I can't get to you!

Sucks for y'all; I just popped some hotdogs in the toaster oven.

The call was too powerful. I bugged out and drove thru the neighbor's driveway.

I just got my final paycheck. Even seeing that I earned over $1000 a week (gross) does not make me feel bad about quitting. That is how much I hated that job.

And somehow I had accrued 10 hours of vacation - $240 bonus!

I swear karma is going to bite me in the ass now and I'll be making minimum wage at whatever job I actually get next.

For some reason, I doubt that will ever be necessary for sass.

It wasn't meant to be serious.

You know, two of my favorite places to go on a regular basis are taco bell and walmart. Don't think I haven't thought about it.

I have been more tempted by Kohl's, tho, and I may fill out an application there yet.

Ok, I finished writing, proofreading, citing, and printing my paper with 30 minutes to spare before I leave for class. Go me!

Lucky for you there are always 2 or 3 or 10 more assignments waiting just around the corner.

Yeah... I made a post about that yesterday. You can go read it and it'll tell you everything I'll be doing until next tuesday.

It's so sad... all I have to do before I leave is sit here and wait for people to make new posts.

You can see the little dumpster is already filled and they've only torn off 1/2 of the front. But all the windows are in and the white siding is going up.

Drat! I slept through most of the day and missed all the fun here.

I've just had my day, week, month and year made. My sister just called, and after a grueling 8 month ordeal of chemo and surgery, told me the doctors declared her cancer free today! I'm on cloud nine!

That's so amazing I can't express it in words. Praise the Lord!

I'm going to celebrate with mac&cheese and ice cream.

That's AWESOME Baldar!! Definitely a reason to celebrate.
