Once again I wake up to rain. Third day into vacation.....third day of rain. WTF?

Same here. Except it's 3rd day of major outdoor construction project instead of vacation.

None of my blinds are fitting back in the new windows because they are thicker. I feel exposed. I sure hope you can't see thru that curtain in the bathroom.

Well, I did peak, but Rob was in there at the time......Lord, I'll never be a peeping Tom again. I promise!

I did my 2 mile walk with my mom this morning... and then forgot that I need to stop by the bank - so I'll have to go back out later. That's my excitement for this very cool and breezy Wednesday.

Don't you like us anymore, Ms. Bam? Why have you stayed away. Don't you know how that hurts? I've been crying off and on for two days now.

You know I like you very much, but this addiction I have is very... well, addicting. And it's not like I've done anything to tell you about unless you're interested in hearing that I've sent off some more resumes that no one's bothered to call me about.

I could tell you that one of my cats has decided that the hallway is a much better place to go than the litter box, and that I've been spending a lot of time cleaning and re-cleaning the carpet. Great! Now I've let it slip that I'm a cat lady.

I think it would be much sexier if we called you Cat Woman instead of cat lady.

Just spent about 2 hours cleaning the basement. I've got a lot of yard sale material here if anyone is interested....the trash man doesn't come for 5 more days, so just drive down here, bring your truck, and haul it away.

Well, my daughter just called, said she'd be home from work around 5:00, so I gotta go over there and finish up some stuff from the other day. Crap that should have dried in 4 or 5 hours took a day and a half. Stupid 100% humidity!

So...our group was in second place the whole night so when we got to the final question we had to bet the farm and bid the whole 25 points.

The question - if you made a list of the largest cityies by population - one for each state of the union - which city name is the only one that would appear twice on the list.

We did not guess correctly and the team ahead of us did so we didn't even place in the top 3 (which were cash prize winning places).

But it was fun. I hope we do it again.

Questions we missed:

There are 10 countries in the world that start with the letter "I". Name the top four most populous countries. We got India, Indonesia, Italy but missed Iran (we put Iraq - against my wishes I might add).

Name the four longest running daytime soap operas. We got Guiding Light, Days of Our Lives and General Hospital but missed As The World Turns (because someone said it wasn't on anymore).

What magazine first issue appeared in 1974 with Mia Farrow on the Cover? It was People but we guessed Cosmopolitan.

My biggest contribution was actually in the Bible Category (I know! I can't believe it either) Who was turned into a pillar of salt? I knew it was Lot's wife and we debated a while on her name (none of us knew) and finally just put Lot's wife - which was the correct answer.

One of our team said Kansas City and we were all drunk enough to go with it, tho in hindsight Kansas City prolly is smaller than St Louis and Wichita.
