| Wow, October is half over. So today I am taking advantage of not having to put in 8 hours for the man. I have gotten the kids off to school, walked, weight trained, done 300 crunches, done my vamp game manhunts, started laundry, made sugar free jello (I'm going to try to substitute this for my recent ice cream addiction and it should be good for my hair, too -which btw, bam, I've decided against cutting ftm); cleaned the kitchen, showered, stripped beds, started laundry, started cooking lunch, and straightened up a bit as I walk from room to room I always try to carry something to put up (and there is always something to be put up). I still need to gather up all the magazines for recycling and drop them off, do some vacuuming, go thru the stacked up mail and school papers on my desk, pick up the dry cleaning, come up with a dinner plan and execute it, finish the 6 loads of laundry, trade out the beach towels and pool stuff with the winter hats, scarves and gloves in the 'mud room' bench, bag up the most recent give away items and drop them off, go by the school and sign up for family portraits....or there's more but I prolly won't get ALL of that done today. I also want to start taking some of the free online classes at some point to attain some of the office skills my recent foray into the working arena highlighted as sorely lacking. I keep hearing these ads for Microsoft Certified training at www.computertraining.com and there is a skills assessment test. I want to take it but there's an essay part and I want to make sure I have time for it. Not that I haven't already written an essay right here, lol, and please if you are still reading - feel free to stop immediately. There will be nothing here of any interest I assure you. Don't you wish I'd said that like 2 paragraphs ago, haha. But anyway, Microsoft has this online learning center and a learning manager to tell you where you need to work on your skills. Plus those online tutorials I already dipped into. Then there's the photo scanning project I MUST complete, but right now my printer/scanner is hooked up to the work computer so I won't even worry about that until I get my PC hooked back up. | |

| I forgot to mention a big to not cutting your hair, Sass. So... on the 1st I submitted my resume online for a job I thought I might have a chance at and the next day I got a call from the agency representing the company. Their representative said that she thought they had 2 jobs that I might be good for and asked me to take some online assessment tests and then call her when I had completed them. She said that I'd need to come in to their office and interview with them as well. On the 3rd I received the tests, took them and called her. She was "unavailable" so I left a message. I haven't heard a thing. I know she has my phone number because she called me, and she sent the tests to my email, so she's got that. I think I did okay on the tests - perhaps not spectacularly, but I'm sure it was above average. So I called today, but she was on another line. I said I'd call back, which I just did. Now she's "unavailable" and they wanted to take a message. Damn, I don't want to leave a message. If I'm not what they're looking for I'd just like to hear it and move on, or maybe she never got that first message... I'll wait a half hour or so and call back. I'd just like to say that JOB HUNTING SUCKS BIG TIME! | |

| Give me the phone number, and I'll call the ..... for you, and tell her how ignorant and inconsiderate she is for not taking/returning phone calls from prospective applicants. Of course, she won't know who it is, but at least you'll get some satisfaction, and still keep your prospects open.....and I'm EXTREMELY good at this type of thing! | |

| LOL! The last time I called and they wanted to take a message, I told the receptionist that I just need to speak to the woman. She asked me who I'm with... and I said I'm all alone. | |

| So now I'm working on these muthafuckin brochures for the old man. My instructions? Find some stuff (content) that will look good and if I don't like it you can change it. This is my third go-round with trying to pull something out of my ass that he likes. | |

| Try this....
Ladies....are you tired of that no good bastard who won't do anything around the house except eat, throw clothes on the floor, and consider it an honor to you when he farts? Tired of that project not being done....that bathroom that still looks like the outhouse....that kitchen that is just a breeding ground for roaches.....if so, then you need to call me, and I'll send my my old man.... he can fix all this fucking shit for you, at a very reasonable price. And if you want, I'll even throw in a night of bedroom activity for you. So call me if you want something done around the house, and I'll send him over....and if he fucks up anything, or you're not satisfied, I'll bring him right back, and you can use my riding crop on his ass for a while. Call now, for demand is high....555-5555

Did you really? I wonder if they got it, lol. Why don't you just email the old heiffer back with a query.

| The email she gave me has someone else's name on it... and the instructions in the email say to call. Plus I'd really like to talk to her. | |

| It must really suck putting in 4 and 5 hour days. I know I don't like it when he doesn't stay away for 8 hours. LOL!
Well, I tried calling that woman back again and the receptionist said that she's with someone, but that she gave her my message. WTF?? I didn't leave a message. What are the odds that she's going to call me back?

| Better leave your name and number next time if you can't get thru. I just checked weather.com for next weekend. Scattered T-storms Fri but sunny Sat. I'll be camping out this Fri and Sat with kid2's Girl Scout troop for a "mom and me" camporee. Down in the 40s on Sat night, too. I think we are in some kind of lodge this time instead of the platform tents...thank GOD. | |
