new Meerkat Manor tonight on animal planet. I'm stoked. those things are so cool. lol

I've never seen that show. Actually, reading these forums, I've found out that I don't watch much TV... and I used to be such an addict.

Me too! Online entertainment has replaced my tv habit.

At least online entertainment is somewhat interactive... I've never been one to talk to the TV.

Gotta go do the chores at my parent's now. I should have talked my mom into DSL. I could have been hanging out in a pristinely clean house ALL BY MYSELF this week.

I'm still a tv junkie. even here at my sister's, I got a tv in front of me. only basic cable, but I'm not complaining.


...and I talk to the tv all the time cuz I like to hear myself think. lol.

If I had the tv and the computer in the same room I'm sure I would watch more.

So....I quit my job today. Still gotta find out if they want me to put in any more days.

My duties were loosely defined, the money was excellent, it was chance to work at home and my fears were assuaged from all quarters whenever I expressed any doubt about my lack of qualifications.

I found out that my duties and responsibilities were going to be quite hefty, I was required to get up to speed (ie expert) on my on with no training materials or direction in a very short period of time; no one picked up any of the slack at home in regards to cleaning, cooking, rearing children, shopping, paper work, etc; and I have been miserable and stressed out for 3 weeks now and other than brief moments of success I was totally lost and overwhelmed.

And if that isn't reason enough : it's like my libido completely disappeared - I haven't masturbated in 3 weeks.

Not that's just not normal.

Finally got a call back from the graphics company... and, you guessed it, they went with someone else. I'd say I'm starting to feel like a real loser here, but it's past "starting."

Maybe you could take some kind of course in your related field at a community college near you - and then use their resources to help find you a job. I bet you could even talk to a career counselor at one as though you were going to go back to school just to see what services they might have to help you find something.

You should never feel like a loser just because someone else didn't see your potential and capability. Next time, bring up this board and show them the Baldar Buttocks smilie....ain't no way you'll be turned down.
