Wednesday 10-10-07

After all that push yesterday I have nothing much to work on today - except research why what I did yesterday isn't working the way it's supposed to. I'm guessing the deadline is going to have to be pushed back.

It's gorgeous here today - a high of only 82 and sunny. Wish I were out in it. I did manage to walk this morning. I couldn't yesterday I was so busy but it was raining anyway.

The weather here is AWESOME! A beautiful clear day and the last time I looked it was 49 degrees.

Oh...just got a call from the boss man. The final deliverable is due tomorrow at noon. He is coming over to work on it shortly. I was able to put a fix on the problem after all...however people have more access than they are supposed to.

It may be another long day yet!

But how great is that going to feel when you've met your first deadline?!?

I'm getting a very late start today, but I'm off to water the cat, feed the clock and wind the plants... or something like that.

For anyone that has a cell phone....tomorrow starts the day when telephone solicitors can call them. If you want, the FTC has a phone number that you can call, putting the number you call from on a national DO NOT CALL list. It took about one minute to do this. The number is 1-888-382-1222. I know that the ones on here that know me will think this is some kind of joke....but it's not. It's the real deal.

I hope it works for you. Both of my wired phones are on the do not call list and we still get at least one every day.

So... I was just sitting here, wondering what in the world I should cook for dinner tonight and my friend just called and reminded me that it's girls' night out. Whew!

Everyone else will have to fend for themselves.

Thats when you call the FTC and report them....they're subject to fines, and you are eligible for damages from that company.

I think I did the do not call list thing for my home phone, too. With the same results as bam.

I almost never use my cell. It will prolly freak me out if it starts ringing.

Yeah... but it's very hard to get a straight answer out of them as to what company is calling... especially those recordings.

I've just realized that I'm going out tonight and I don't have any money... unless you count the 80 Sacajaweas I've got. My friends are going to be so embarrassed...

Put it all on my tab and tell them to send me the bill, with a 20% gratuity added.
