| Today was the meet and greet at Katie's elementary school. Deanna had an eye appt after so she went with us. We've been going to that school for 12 years - since D started kindergarten there. This is our last year there. We'll miss it.
Deanna went to her registration by herself in her own car. If it weren't for me having to send 5 or 6 signed checks with her I would be obsolete in the entire process. | |

| Already said our goodbyes to elementary and middle schools, just three more years and then we can make our last high school visit. When our college treks will end remains an open-ended question, however. | |

| I predict I'll be happy to put middle school behind me. There is going to be a "Mississippi Day in the Park" this Sat @ Chastain. - Quote :
- Please join us for an inaugural event to celebrate our Mississippi roots with good old-fashioned picnic and reunion, complete with Ken Akins' catfish straight from Yazoo City, sweet tea and cookies from McAlister's Deli, and ice-cold Coca-Cola's, courtesy of Coca-Cola Enterprises of Atlanta. Bring your blanket and enjoy the blues sound of the Homegrown Band, the Daddy's O's, and legendary bluesman Chick Willis and his band. Look for the Mississippi State tent to join other MSU alumni.
