I would have enjoyed this show even if Nathan Fillion weren't the lead but the fact that he is and does the character perfectly is the cherry on top. Castle has actually turned out to be a better show than Dollhouse - they did a tremenous job on Season 1 imho. And guess what? Good news!

ABC renews 'Castle' for fall '09

I think it aired on Monday nights in one of the later time slots. The whole cast is good - I love his mother and his daughter. The woman playing the Detective is not only gorgeous but a very charming actress. If you are looking for something to fill the empty summer tv schedule I would recommend this - I bet either ABC or hulu has the shows online.

Tonight's show started with Castle dressed up for Halloween like Mal! AND they talked about Buffy all in the first few minutes. SQWEE!

He did do a maniacal laughter bit, which might be more Dr Horrible than Capt Hammer but still cool.
