We've been thinking of refinancing, but at the same time thinking about putting the house back up for sale in the spring. If I refinance, and do sell, it's a waste. If I don't refinance, and don't sell, it's a waste. Decisions, decisions.

No one knows what to do in this economy. One of the comments on TW was past wisdom does not apply - people who bought stocks during the dips this time have lost.

Yep......I've bought all the way down. My last buy was at Dow 8100, back in Oct. I still have cash in a money market in my 401k, but kind of hesitant to apply it in equities right now. I may need it to buy those hundred cases of tuna fish and thousand jars of peanut butter.
