I am so not looking forward to tonight. T.o.m. won tickets to a Rick Springfield concert at our county fair. I don't care much for crowds and it's supposed to be hot.... and who gives a rat's ass about Rick Springfield. I wish that I had Jesse's girl... I just can't get that to quit playing in my head.

And have you seen Rick Springfield lately?

T.o.m. wins a lot of tickets. At least you are going out. I bet it'll be fun.

I just finished weights and treadmill and I'm wringing wet in the air conditioning. Maybe these pills make you sweat off the weight, lol.

My feet were aching so much I've decided my shoes must be crap. I switched to the treadmill for a couple of days because it has some give (and I won't get stranded a mile from home with pain) and there's a noticable improvement. I'm going to try some shoe inserts (I'll be gellin) and if that makes a diff pounding the pavement maybe some better walking shoes.

Actually, he looks pretty good from far away - lol!

He put on a very good show aside from the songs I didn't care for - Jesse's Girl and I've Done Everything For You. He even threw in covers of Crossroads and My Generation, which were pretty darn good. He's a great singer, which I didn't know since I've only heard studio recordings, and isn't too bad on the guitar either.

While the weather wasn't super hot, considering this is August, it was still too hot for me... and our seats were very poor quality plastic chairs in a field of dirt. I would have enjoyed the show much more in an air conditioned theater with comfortable seating.
