"a box of tampons and some Marlboro lights" LOL!
The guys that put our siding up were good ol boys instead of hispanics - they listened to country music. Rob came inside giggling one day about the lyrics he overheard:
...we got some discount knowledge at the junior college...

(I hope none of you got the Email going round with this joke in it. If you didn't, yea, I made that up)

They look great! I don't put up lights anymore. Since the kids have left the nest, we don't even put up a tree! I did broach the subject about hanging one giant Christmas ornament from the pine trees in the front yard......maybe an improvised beach ball or something like that. She didn't think it was funny.

Tell the wife she should work on that sense of humor. I usually don't threaten people but tell her if she don't I'll turn her into one giant Christmas ornament, suitable for hanging. ;)
Zvonder does have the power to do this....don't question it.

I've been trying to get out of putting up a tree for several years, but everyone else wants one. Funny, I have to do most of the work. I have a really cool ceramic tree that I'd be happy with.

A ceramic tree is blasphemy.
rhyme is intentional

Bravo!
Hey, since you've got the gloves on, you can set up the tree and put the lights on for me.

Porcelain is almost like ceramic.....could I put an old toilet on the front lawn, with a Santa sitting on it for a Xmas decoration?

Sure...
I hate to admit that I spent over an hour making that... and it's not even funny - lol.

This is acceptable.
Actually that's hilarious Bammi. Worth an hour? That's debatable.
So we have one with no tree, one with a tree that could crack..... I have a little miniature fake multicolor lighted deal.
I was always a fan of real trees, as long as it wasn't me cleaning up the mess after it came down.

It's funny, bam.
We usually have a fake tree but Rob insisted on a real one this year.

T.o.m. got a real tree yesterday, so have no fear that we'll Christmas around a ceramic one. Now I can add getting that all decorated to the piles of cookies I need to make and not eat.
You're going to wrap up this week? LOL, I'm just getting started this week.
