FRIDAY!!! 11-2-07

Gotta do some pre-lab questions for recitation, and after the recitation is over, I'm going grocery shopping (were out of food). I'll buy some candy that's on sale, and all will be in harmony. The rest of my weekend will involve me playing halo 3, and reading some from Great Expectations, which is better the second time around, but would still rather not read it.

I have a fun filled day of trying to loot in 2 worlds of the monster game some of us play, as well as burn off a bunch of dvds, and I have to do some more packing for the move to yet another house.

I got up (late) and cleaned all day until now. I really wish I wasn't so lazy the rest of the time so it wouldn't get so bad. We're having a guest for a few days.

On the up side, I got a call back for a second interview for the real estate company office manager position - the one I interviewed for on Tuesday. It would be awesome to have a 2 minute commute.

The second callback interview is tantamount to you being hired; however, if someone offers you a job with comparitive pay and benefits, I would definitely take it. To paraphrase an old saying...."A dick in the hand is not as nice as two in the bush".

No one has offered me a job yet, so I really doubt that it's going to interfere with the second interview. I thought that old saying was... "A dick is better than no dick."

I saw the Bourne Ultimatum tonight.

And I agree, the second interview sounds way promising. It better come thru because I don't know about you but I can't handle many more rejections.

The Bourne movies are a shining example of exactly how stupid our government is. he told them in part 1 to leave him the fuck alone or he would be back, but no, they didn't listen. and again in 2, leave me the fuck alone or I'll be back, but nooooo.

I didn't see 2 and barely remember any of 1. 3 was good on it's own but the shaky, fast clipped ADHD editing he's famous for sucks when you are only about 10 rows from the screen.

There were several places my main thought was "I need to watch this again - in slow motion". The fight scene in the Morrocan bathroom looked liked bitchin choreography (that flip thing was AWESOME) but with the camera angles changing every 3 seconds I felt like only about 60% registered in my brain.

I haven't seen 3 yet but the plot on all of them is the same. they won't leave him alone so he fucks them up.
