I like what bam did with the bats on your pix, too. PD. I would suggest taking out a few of the close up ones but put one back in the light area - one with a shape that really emphasizes they are bats and not just birds.

Actually (don't hate me) I liked the bats more all to the one side - I think this is too many bats. They detract from the island and the island is really cool.

How about thinning the bats out some and moving that big one to the lower left after removing the others from that low corner.

Or maybe I should shut up and let PD say what he wants, lol.

forgive me, please. i'm not trying to sound like you know who (not you sass, your input is good, I'm talking about you know who in mg who's never happy with her pics), but how about:




losing the bats I circled, and the arrow is pointing to the cliff peak up there, it would be cool if there was a vampire (more like a dark shadow figure) standing prominently, overseeing everything. But if I'm being too you know who about it, just tell me to stfu. lol

Bam has really become a great graphic artist from what I see of her work for that game.

if we lose the big one on the bottom left, and the one straight above it blocking the rock face, it'll be ok. like sass said, it shouldn't have too many so that it distracts from the island istelf. I really like the smaller ones and background bats. the big one on the upper right is cool too.

and if you could, write Isla de la Muerte across the bottom. I tried, but my fonting abilities are rather limited. I can't do the outlines on letters cuz the program I use is really a picture viewer that just happens to have some editing abilities. and on a dark pic like this, lettering really needs outlines.
