I made it home.

Glad to hear it. I made it back from the party. I wish you could have been there.

It's over already? I don't feel like I got a full report of the trip so far.

You haven't. I'm hoping Rose will write a little since I'm so challenged in that area. And I'll try to get my pictures downloaded and post some in the next couple of days. I should have taken more pictures.

Hmmmm....on Wed I met bam and her cousin for lunch at Gladys Knight's Chicken and Waffles restaurant (the food was divine); then we went to my regular Wed night bar trivia - we were in 2nd place going into the last bonus question where we bet all in on a wrong answer (thank you, Rob!); on Thur we went downtown to the Little Five Points area, shopped and ate at an Indian restaurant; that night we went to a local theater on Marietta's square to see The Woman In Black and capped off the night sharing dessert and coffee at Chili's; Friday we lazed around and at Bam's request had lunch at Krystal's. We were supposed to go to a party Fri night at my friends but my real life intruded and we didn't get to go anywhere; Sat we had a nice lunch at Copelands before heading to the airport. What'd I leave out, bam?

I very much enjoyed seeing bam, we laughed and talked and even got online (of course we got online!) and oh boy, we ate, lol. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

Excellent synopsis, Rose! I don't think you left anything out, but I just want to add that Rose is a great host. I felt welcomed and very comfortable.

I know it doesn't sound exciting, but I had so much fun that I hated to leave - though I bet Rose's family was glad to have things back to normal.

Like it's ever normal around here, hahaha. Everyone enjoyed meeting you as well.

Of course, there was the first leg of the journey bam took before we met up that she'll have to illuminate for us.

LOL... I just remembered the movie we saw Friday, Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant. It was a bit different from what I expected, not quite as dark, but very enjoyable.

I would have guessed California, even though that seems too late a state entry to be the first one, but that's where the "Gold Rush" happened, so.... what was the right answer?
