| Today we visited Charleston. First we drove out to Folly Beach and had brunch at a little place right on the beach. We walked out on the pier there and saw a few dolphins. It was a little chilly so I was surprised to see people surfing. We walked around in the historic area. There are some beautiful homes there. We got a bite at a great little place off the beaten track where I had a delicious crab cake. | |

| You've covered lots of ground already if you've made it all the way to the coast ~ if you make it to the mountains, too, you'll really be getting some sightseeing done.
Glad to hear you escaped the rain even if it was a bit chilly. It's cold here but the temps are supposed to rise over the next few days and the sun finally came out today.
Two days!!!!! | |

| Urglth. I'm paying for that late night now that it's 6:00 am.
I suspect that deadline had nothing to do with all the mafia wars you were playin.
It's 35 now so I'm hoping we missed a hard freeze overnight. At least all my flowers didn't croak, tho I did take the precaution of hauling a tarp out over the newly planted mums and I brought all the potted plants in.
*YAWN* I am so going back to bed after I get Kate to school for her 6:30 math lab. urglth.

| I set up and pull cranked the new gas powered pressure washer all by myself! I guess the cleaner has sat long enough; time to go do some more. | |

| Good work! Can I hire you to be my husband? I didn't even use cleaner, the pressure washer I used took the gunk off the concrete walkway and steps in the yard with just water and now they look new. The deck, however, was stripped of grime, but also paint in the processs and and so I had to re-stain the whole thing with a new coat. | |

| I'm gonna be lazy, too. The exposed part of the deck did not get done and it's not going to get done this week but all the covered area looks good. Imma try to clean all the furniture cushions up tomorrow but I want to get all the Halloween decorations out so the pressure washer is disassembled and put up. And the dog has to be bathed; no getting around that.
I get a new House tonight! I think I do anyway.

| I felt very accomplished. The only reason I got all that done was because my computer was in the shop for three days and I couldn't waste all day online and I had to look for things to do in the actual, real world. Thank God that's been rectified and things are back to normal now.. | |

| The hard drive fan was noisy and erratic. It was still under warranty so I had them replace it before the hard drive overheated and was damaged. Back to being completely silent now. | |
