| Beautiful....but kind of lonely. Maybe I'm just in a funny mood this morning but it seems like you could go for miles and miles and never see another human being. | |

Only if you go upriver. There's a small town near the mouth where our guide lived. When we were there (during the salmon run), there were a lot of other people who had smokehouses along the river, and we'd wave while passing by. Besides, it was nice to get away from the big city for a week. The little town is ONLY accessible by airplane. Here's a map of where we were: I made it blatantly obvious where we went. I also had to put it on the map cause it wasn't there b4.

| Wow, you almost made it to Russia. Now I can see the salmon in the water! That sounds like a wonderful trip. | |

Now I can see the salmon in the water! That sounds like a wonderful trip. Dead salmon... after they spawn they start to decompose right there in the river... while they're alive. It's pretty gross. You get used to the smell after a while too; it really isn't that bad to begin with. Great fishing tho!

Lol, sometimes you hook a random dead one and it's like pulling a barn door through the water. What I really like in these pictures are the mountains and wildlife. Unfortunately all I got were pictures of seagulls... I think I may have a picture of a school of salmon somewhere in my pictures.

| All the water/land/horizon/sky ones would make EXCELLENT puzzles YourShiny.
I would love to have one of those made into a 3000 piece puzzle.
